2024 Youth Mission Trip to Duluth
Our 2024 mission to Duluth was incredible and many who went on the trip said it was the best one yet! Everyone enjoyed the shorter drive, the beautiful school we stayed at, our service locations, evening activities, chapel time and much more! For the first time ever, we structured each day around Mass. Our group was very fortunate to be able to attend Mass, Eucharistic Adoration and Reconciliation at a few different churches. We met some incredible priests and people along the way. Fr. Richard Kunst showed us his personal collection of papal artifacts and shared many incredible stories of how his collection has grown to the largest in the world (outside of the Vatican). Everyone really enjoyed that. It’s not everyday you get to see relics of the True Cross and that of other Saints! We also attended Mass at the Cathedral with Fr. Mike Schmitz as the celebrant. Afterwards, we sat in on a talk he gave, covering the Seven Deadly Sins/Seven Lively Virtues. We were able to spend a few hours with him that night and many were so excited about that. On our last day, we went to the Great Wolf Lodge waterpark for a few hours! This provided a fun ending to our week of hard work and devotion. We cannot wait for next year!
