In the past, we have held live classes of: Eucharist Bible Study, Prayer Bible Study, Evangelization Bible Study, and Mary Bible Study. We have also held live group sessions for Advent and Lent. Please check back to see when we will be holding our next class or group session.
There was not enough iNterest in Alpha this Round. WE will try again for a new session in the future.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.
Each Alpha session has food, an engaging video, and conversation with others. The discussion time is what makes Alpha unique. The group leader will start the conversation but the direction it goes is up to the group. You are free to share anything you believe. Join the conversation!
Participating in Alpha has been fun and thought provoking. I have enjoyed going through this experience with my husband and a great group of St A’s parishioners. Our faith is in constant need of nourishment. I recommend Alpha as a source of nourishment for growth and confidence to strengthen your faith to be more bold in bringing others to Jesus.
That Man Is You
That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! This program is open to all men, and meets Fridays, 6:00am, in St. Anastasia’s hospitality area.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences—the loss of a loved one. Fr. Paul facilitates this ecumenical 13 week program, Mondays, 5:30pm, in St. Anastasia’s hospitality area. Fr. Paul will be happy to answer any questions.
Discovering the Mass in the Bible, dig down to the biblical roots of the Eucharist, through its foreshadowing in the miraculous events of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and Apostolic teaching. “The Lamb of God,” “The Bread of Life,” “The Body and the Blood of Christ”… these are phrases we know from the Mass. But do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? We’ll discover firsthand how Christ’s Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God’s plan for our salvation. Our 10 week session begins Wed, Sept 14 at 6:30 pm and repeats Thursday, September 15 at 2 pm in the Hospitality Area of the Church. All are welcome.
Small Group Faith Sharing
There are multiple small groups of parishioners who meet weekly to study the Bible, discuss their faith, and more. If you’re interested in learning more or joining a group, please call the Parish Office.
