The same Holy Spirit that descended upon the apostles, descends upon all those who receive the sacrament of Confirmation. In today’s environment, we want our youth to be armed with His Spirit and to be His Light. Therefore, we are moving the age of Confirmation to the fall of 9th grade, preparing during 7th and 8th grades.
On March 5, 2022 we will confirm all 11th, 10th, and 9th graders, with the current 8th graders to be Confirmed in the fall of their 9th grade year, date to be determined by the diocese.
Parent meeting for an overview of the program: Wednesday October 6th, 6:45 pm

Continue Reading2021 Marathon for Nonpublic Education

On Friday, October 1, 2021, St. Anastasia students, school teachers, staff, parents and siblings will walk 3.5 miles to raise awareness and money for their school. As St. Anastasia Catholic School’s largest annual fundraiser, the Marathon is not only a source of pride and excitement for the kids, but a key financial component that allows the school to meet its financial needs.
This year, our goal is to raise a total of $50,000 with 100% of funds going directly to the school. Funds will be used to update technology, continue our Spanish program, and assist with school operating expenses.
As a member of the extended St. Anastasia family community, there are several ways in which you can participate:
- Send a pledge donation with a student, or send via mail to: St. Anastasia Catholic School, Attn: Marathon, 400 Lake St SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350
- Make an online donation
- Become a Business Premium or Elite Sponsor (levels $500-$5000+) and have access to unique advertising opportunities!
The deadline to make a donation is October 1, 2021. For Premium and Elite Sponsorship information, please contact Principal Betty Jodzio at [email protected].
With your support, we can reach our goal of $50,000 and continue to provide quality education in which our students grow and thrive.
