Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, we continue to celebrate the successful completion of our Church remodeling project. We were able to raise nearly $1.6 million for the first phase of our facility master plan program. Of that, we used $1.1 million for phase one to renovate the worship space with beauty, accessibility upgrades, safety concerns and audio/visual upgrades.

  • Priority 3: Church Restrooms/Gathering Space Remodel
Please join us on Thursday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. in the Church for Feedback Sessions. Your input is valuable and appreciated.

CANCELLED – For the Light of the World Retreat March 24-27, 2023

February 24, 2023

Unfortunately due to low numbers the retreat has been cancelled.

What is the Light of the World Retreat?

The Light of the World Lenten Retreat is an immersive weekend retreat experience where participants personally encounter Christ through the presentation of the kerygma – the basic gospel message. We will be holding this retreat from:

March 24th – 27th at St. Anastasia

  • Friday, 7:00 – 9:30pm,
  • Saturday, 8:00am-7:00pm
  • Sunday 8:00am-7:00pm,
  • Monday 6:30-9:00 pm

The Light of the World Retreat is boldly Catholic, and it is completely faithful to the magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Parish-based, the retreat is born, raised, and run in your parish. Don’t wait for the “experts.” They’re already in your pews, they just don’t know it yet. To be honest, the Light of the World Retreat has no “secret ingredient.” It’s about helping your parish tap into the tried and true method of evangelization that the Lord Himself has established: the kerygma. Evangelization isn’t just for the “experts.” All disciples have a responsibility to evangelize. Retreatants access the storehouse of graces that are available to them in the Church through a renewal of the Sacraments during the Light of the World Retreat weekend.

Sign Up in the parish office! Space is limited.

Lenten Season 2023

February 23, 2023

As we enter this beautiful season of Lent, our prayer is that your walk with Christ will be strengthened and renewed. As followers of Christ, we must continue to be more like him and allow his light to shine through us. During this time, let us also continue to pray that He will bring peace to this world, and the hearts of so many who need to feel his unconditional love.

Lenten is a season of celebration, it’s a season of love, and it’s a season of new beginning. It is a blessing to gather together for another year with our St. Anastasia church family to welcome the Lenten season!

ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPCOMING EVENTS

Mass and Stations of the Cross will be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays during the Lenten season.

The Ascension Lenten Companion: Year A, Journal which is 108 pages long, featuring daily entries, each offering a word, a scripture passage, a short meditation, and a prayer prompt. Cost $10.

5 weekly supplemental Lent reflection videos: Wednesdays after 5 pm Mass and Fridays after 5 and 7pm Mass/Stations

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:20-22
