March Saints of the Month

March 31, 2026

Virtue: Responsibility

At St. Anastasia Catholic School, our Saint of the Month program recognizes students who demonstrate strong character, academic responsibility, positive attitudes, and a commitment to living out our monthly virtue.

In March, our focus was Responsibility.

Responsibility is about being accountable for our actions, making thoughtful choices, and doing what is right—even when no one is watching. It means taking ownership of our learning, following through on commitments, and showing respect for others and our school community. Living responsibly also reflects a heart grounded in faith, as we strive to use our gifts in ways that honor God.

Throughout the month, our teachers and staff observed students who modeled this virtue in meaningful ways—by completing their work with care, helping classmates, showing leadership, and making positive decisions both inside and outside the classroom.

We are proud to recognize the following students as our March Saints of the Month:

  • Genevieve Gifford | 1st Grade
  • Hailey Young | 3rd Grade
  • Adley Tanata | 5th Grade
  • Isabelle Boncquet | 6th Grade

These students have shown what it means to be responsible members of our school community. Their actions set a wonderful example for their peers and reflect the values we strive to instill each day at St. Anastasia.

Congratulations to our March Saints of the Month! We are grateful for the positive example you bring to our school. 💙

February Saints of the Month

March 19, 2026

Virtue: Cheerfulness – Sharing Joy in All We Do

At St. Anastasia Catholic School, our Saint of the Month program continues to highlight students who demonstrate strong character, academic responsibility, positive attitudes, and a commitment to living out our monthly virtue.

In February, our focus was Cheerfulness.

Cheerfulness is more than simply being happy when things are going well. True cheerfulness is choosing joy each day and sharing that joy with others. It means offering a smile, lifting up classmates, bringing a positive attitude to learning, and finding reasons to be grateful in all circumstances. Cheerfulness reflects a heart rooted in faith and a willingness to brighten the lives of those around us.

Throughout the month, our teachers and staff observed students who modeled this virtue in meaningful ways—through encouraging words, positive attitudes, and a joyful presence in our classrooms and school community.

We are proud to recognize the following students as our February Saints of the Month:

  • Poppy Luthens | 1st Grade

  • Trevor Dahl | 2nd Grade

  • Madeline Bonquet | 5th Grade

  • Charlotte Loew | 6th Grade

These students demonstrated what it means to live with cheerfulness rooted in faith. Their joyful spirit, gratitude, and encouragement of others reflect Christ’s love in our school each day.

Congratulations to our February Saints of the Month! Thank you for sharing your joy and being a light in our St. Anastasia community.

January Saints of the Month

February 13, 2026

Virtue: Positivity – Trusting in God, Even When It’s Hard

At St. Anastasia Catholic School, our Saint of the Month program continues to highlight students who demonstrate strong character, academic responsibility, positive attitudes, and a commitment to living out our monthly virtue.

In January, our focus was Positivity.

Positivity is more than simply having a cheerful attitude when things are easy. True positivity is choosing hope when challenges arise. It means encouraging others when they are struggling, persevering through difficult assignments, showing kindness in frustrating moments, and trusting in God’s plan even when we do not fully understand it.

Throughout the month, our teachers and staff observed students who modeled this virtue in meaningful ways; by offering words of encouragement, maintaining strong effort in their schoolwork, and approaching each day with faith and resilience.

We are proud to recognize the following students as our January Saints of the Month:

  • Graham Dumyron | Kindergarten

  • Rylie Buchholz | 3rd Grade

  • Sadie Dahl | 4th Grade

  • Joseph Enright | 6th Grade

These students demonstrated what it means to stay positive, especially when things feel challenging. Their trust in God, uplifting spirit, and perseverance serve as an example for their classmates and our entire school community.

Congratulations to our January Saints of the Month! We are grateful for the light and encouragement you bring to St. Anastasia Catholic School.
