Student Life

2025-2026 Academic Calendar

Classroom Structure

Each classroom hosts special events and field trips throughout the year and participates in service projects.

The average class size is 9 students per grade, and we offer specialty classes including STEM, music, and physical education.

For the 2025-2026 school year K-5th grade will be considered elementary, and 6th-8th grade will be considered middle school. School will start at 8:45 AM and end at 3:15 PM for all grades. We will accommodate schedules for grade 6-8 after-school sports. Please let us know if you have questions on this or have a child who will be participating.

If you have any questions about curriculum or classroom structure, please reach out to Betty Kloss Principal, by email or call 320-587-2490.

Events & Activities

Our events and activities enrich the experience of students and families as they work together to learn new skills, compete in athletics, participate in activities, and help to support the school.

The following extra-curricular activities are available for St. Anastasia students to participate in:

  • Band: Students in grades 5-7 may choose to join band. These students will travel to the public school for lessons on their chosen instrument and participate in all large-group band activities including concerts.
  • Servers: Students in grades 4-7 can choose to be servers during School Mass. These students are trained-in on the jobs that servers do at Mass. Many of the students also serve during weekend Masses.
  • Student Council: Beginning in 5th grade students can choose to be a part of Student Council. Student Council meets with the principal periodically and helps advise the principal on changes they would like to see in the school.
  • Middle School Extracurricular Activities: Middle school students are encouraged to participate in athletics and extracurriculars through ISD 423 (Hutchinson Public Schools). Their school day schedule is coordinated with the public school so that they are able to participate in athletics and activities after the school day.
