Thank You, Twins Community Fund!
We are thrilled to announce that we received an $8,000 grant from the Twins Community Fund to support the renovation of the ball field on our property. This ball field is used by more than 350 kids each summer through PRCE, Hutchinson Softball Association and Hutchinson Jr. Baseball. St. Anastasia is collaborating with Hutchinson PRCE to renovate the ball field; we hope to break ground in June 2021. Stay tuned for updates!

“Hearts Around Hutchinson” is a collaborative service project tied to the Hutchinson Leadership Institute. The project goal is to disseminate decorative hearts around the City of Hutchinson in effort to spread joy, love, and inspire “togetherness” in a time when all of which are needed most.
Students from St. Anastasia contributed to the project by painting dozens of the hearts!
All hearts will be weather-proofed and available for pick-up (free of charge) on May 1st in Library Square in observance of “Kindness Day in Hutchinson.”
This project serves as the capstone requirement for members of the 2020-2021 Hutchinson Leadership Institute cohort; of which, a central requirement involves leveraging local connections and resources because fundraising is not allowed. As such, the project would not have been possible without generous donors; materials were sourced from Stearnswood, labor was donated by the Hutchinson High School and decorative art was provided by St. Anastasia Catholic School, King’s Kids Preschool and various local artists.

St. Anastasia Catholic School is a special place. Not only do we have talented, creative students, but our staff and teachers are superb. They guide our students to not only excel in academics, but also to develop their hearts using Jesus as the ultimate example of love.
We will be highlighting our staff and teachers to share how wonderful they are. First up is Mrs. Linda Evenson, our Grade 2 teacher. Mrs. Evenson is a lifelong member of St. Anastasia Catholic Community and has been teaching at St. Anastasia School for 36 years! Through the years she has taught about 540 students, including 20 sets of parents/children. Mrs. Evenson loves being an educator at a Catholic school and enjoys using a faith filled teaching approach.
Thank you, Mrs. Evenson, for being such
a loving, dedicated teacher!
