Box of Joy

St. Anastasia Catholic Church is excited to once again partner with Cross Catholic Outreach and their Box of Joy program to collect Christmas gifts for children in need this year! Your Box of Joy may be the only Christmas gift a child in need receives. You can pick up empty boxes, fill them with a special list of wanted & needed items, and return them to the table in the front entry on the church. Please also include a $9 check in the provided envelope to help pay shipping costs. Boxes should be returned to the church entry by November 10th.

Let’s share the love of Christ and help bless children around the world! We thank you for your continued generosity and participation in this important ministry.

Welcome to the team, Kirk & Elli!

A warm welcome to two new team members at St. Anastasia Catholic Community – Kirk Hendrickson, Music Director, and Elli Burmis, Director of Religious Education and Social Concerns!

Kirk brings not only his incredible talent but also his deep connection to our parish as a devoted  member. Alongside his lovely wife Amanda and their four children, he’s ready to take the musical experience at St. Anastasia to new heights! Having previously served as our Youth Minister, Kirk knows the heartbeat of our community and will infuse it into every note he orchestrates.

Elli is no stranger to the St. Anastasia Community – she attended Kids’ Depot as a kid and then started working there at the age of 17. She came back to work at Kids’ Depot during summers throughout her college years, and that’s when she met Jake (St. A’s Director of Youth Ministry). They were married at St. Anastasia in August 2023. Elli said, “I love the St. A’s community and though it has felt like home for many years, it is a true blessing and gift to have the the opportunity to serve as the Director of Religious Education and Social Concerns. I am very thankful and excited for all that is to come!”

Welcome, Kirk and Elli! We’re glad your here to help strengthen our community in Christ!

Grow in Your Faith by Joining a Discipleship Quad

Are you ready to take the next step in deepening your relationship with Jesus Christ? We invite you to consider creating or joining a Discipleship Quad.

A Discipleship Quad is a group of four people who journey together as disciples through weekly gatherings of fellowship, ongoing conversion, and learning. This 12-month path of accompaniment fosters growth through prayer, accountability, and authentic relationships.

A Quad can be made up of people at any level of spiritual maturity, from long-time, committed Catholics to those who are just beginning their spiritual journey with Jesus. The benefit of a Discipleship Quad to each individual person is knowing the love of Jesus Christ and deepening a relationship with him. Jesus is critical to our ongoing growth in faith and, as such, our peace, joy, and fulfillment in life.

As part of a Discipleship Quad, you will get to learn with and from others, pray for and with one another, and share life with those who will become good friends, in an otherwise incredibly busy and complicated world.

Contact Fr. Paul at [email protected] or (320) 484-4867 to get started.
