Virtue: Independence
At St. Anastasia Catholic School, our Saint of the Month program continues to recognize students who demonstrate strong character, academic responsibility, positive attitudes, and a commitment to living out our monthly virtue.
In May, our focus was Independence.
Independence means taking responsibility for our actions, making good choices, and showing confidence in the gifts and abilities God has given us. Independent students work hard, stay motivated, solve problems thoughtfully, and continue to grow both academically and personally. They demonstrate leadership by being responsible, dependable, and willing to do what is right, even when no one is watching.
Throughout the month, our teachers and staff observed students who modeled this virtue in meaningful ways through responsible decision-making, strong work habits, and positive leadership within our school community.
We are proud to recognize the following students as our May Saints of the Month:
- Theo Loew | 1st Grade
- Marianna Boncquet | 3rd Grade
- Kaden Young | 5th Grade
- Peter Enright | 8th Grade
These students demonstrated what it means to live with independence each day. Their responsibility, confidence, and commitment to doing their best serve as a wonderful example to our entire school community.
Congratulations to our May Saints of the Month! Thank you for the leadership and positivity you bring to St. Anastasia Catholic School.
