Adult Faith Formation
Eucharist Bible Study
"The Lamb of God," "The Bread of Life," "The Body and the Blood of Christ"... these are phrases we know from the Mass. But do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? Acclaimed author and teacher Dr. Brant Pitre rigorously digs down to the biblical roots of the Eucharist, through its foreshadowing in the miraculous events of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and Apostolic teaching. We'll discover firsthand how Christ's Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God's plan for our salvation. This program is open to all and meets Mondays at 5:30pm and Fridays at 7:30am, in St. Anastasia's hospitality area.
That Man is You!
That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! This program is open to all men, and meets Fridays, 5:45am, in St. Anastasia's hospitality area.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences—the loss of a loved one. If you allow him, the Wild Goose will lead you on an adventure greater than you can imagine. The Spirit will lead you to a place of mercy, healing, peace, and presence. The Holy Spirit has been given to us not as a possession to be tamed or controlled, but rather as a Person that will lead us to the Heart of God. The Wild Goose series will help you experience a deeper relationship with the Person of the Holy Spirit, and as you come to experience God's presence and power this very same Spirit will transform you and bring you freedom.

Topic: Everyone makes a difference, from the smallest child to the oldest adult, we all impact other's lives, and our lives are all impacted by others. Through a series of stories, memories, and personal experiences, I will convey the message that we all make a difference each and every day/moment of our lives..often when we least expect it. And that is exactly how God wants it. I am still in the process of writing this, and am trying to attach a bible verse to each story, but definitely relating all to God and how he puts us exactly where we need to be, and puts others in our lives, exactly where they need to be.
There is no childcare available. Open to all women, so feel free to invite your friends outside of our AFC.
