Our chief goals are to raise awareness of social justice issues, and to encourage and participate in direct service projects. That covers a lot of territory, and gives us plenty to keep us busy and involved. Each of these goals encompasses several objectives.

If you are interested, we’d be glad to have you aboard.

Just call Sr. Lucille at 587-6507 during office hours.

This year, we've collected over 100 boxes at St. Anastasia for Operation Christmas Child!

McLeod County Food Shelf

Year-round, the local food shelf needs your help to help others with emergency food needs. At St. Anastasia, food donations can be brought to the hospitality area and placed in the grocery carts.

Financial donations can also be made the food shelf. You can send them directly to McLeod Emergency Food Shelf, 105 - 2nd Ave SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350.

Visit the Hospitalized, Sick, & Homebound

Volunteers from St Anastasia parish bring communion to the Hutch Hospital every day. If you or a loved one are in the hospital and wish to receive communion you must notify the hospital staff. Our volunteers try very hard to not miss anyone, but they really need your help. Thanks!

We need people to visit those sick, homebound, or in the hospital. Volunteers may bring communion, pray the rosary or other common prayers, read Scripture, or just chat for a short time. To request a visit, or to volunteer as a visitor, contact Sr. Lucille.

St. Anastasia Tithing Program

St. Anastasia’s Tithing Program exists to serve the financial, emotional, and spiritual needy of St. Anastasia and the surrounding community by providing economic support to programs, whether internal or external to St. Anastasia, which address such needs, and to give back to God from our first fruits. For fiscal year 2010-11, 4% of all contributions made to the church will be tithed to organizations that fulfill the guidelines of the Parish Tithing Program.
