Goals & Objectives

2007-2008

 

  1. Goal:  To continue to increase youth and adult education opportunities in church related activities.

Objectives:

a.        To continue supporting Youth Council and Adult Education activities.                  

b.       To encourage youth and adults to participate in parish, diocesan, and community events.

  1. Goal:  To be supportive of parents and families, and to encourage involvement.

Objectives:

    1. To assist with annual parish family advent activities.

    2. To assist with other family activities organized by staff.

c.     To support diocesan efforts to provide quality Catholic School

opportunities.      

  1. Goal:  To be supportive of those serving in parish education ministry roles.

Objectives:

    1. To assist supervisors with opportunities to thank catechists.

    2. To welcome new catechists.

    3. To assist in monitoring programs as requested by parish staff.

  1. Goal:  To assist in developing, reviewing, approving, and implementing (as appropriate) St. Anastasia School related annual accreditation required documents.

Objectives:

    1. To review, approve and assist to implement as appropriate an annual marketing and development plan.

    2. To review and approve an annual School Staff and Administration Professional Development Reports.

    3. To review and approve an annual technology plan as well as the long term technology plan.

    4. To review and approve an annual nutrition and physical subcommittee activity report.

 

  1. Goal:  To monitor and assess the strategic plan addressing financial issues relating to the operation of the school.

Objectives:

    1. To monitor school budget subsidy issues.

    2. To continually assess the tuition policy in light of maintaining a quality educational program.

    3. To work jointly with finance council to increase education endowment and scrip usage.

  1. Goal:  To increase school awareness in community.

Objectives: 

    1. To assist with planning activities of Catholic Schools Week.

    2. To assist in marketing the school throughout the community.

  1. Goal:  To annually review a minimum of one third of the diocesan/parish education related policies.

Objectives:

    1. To review policy to update as needed (local policy or recommendation to E & C).

    2. To review policy to verify policy guidelines are being met.
