School Accreditation
St. Anastasia School is subject to accreditation by the Minnesota Non-Public School Accrediting Association. Plans and goals must be submitted annually for the upcoming school year. Plans and goals set for the previous school year must be addressed and justified. Documentation of successful completion of goals must be submitted. Student progress must be reported. Staffing qualifications must be submitted and be within accrediting requirements. An accrediting team visits the school every seven years to help with long-range goal setting and to review accuracy of an in-depth accrediting document. Interviews, building and programming reviews are done on-site. St. Anastasia completed its in-depth accrediting review in 2005. Documentation of our accreditation status can be found in the school office. Accreditation Renewal GrantedSt. Anastasia School completed an extensive self-evaluation and accreditation team visit in February 2005. Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association congratulated St. Anastasia School after receiving renewal of the seven-year eligibility status. In order to maintain accreditation during the eligibility period, St. Anastasia School needs to annually demonstrate school improvement and comply with the policies and standards of MNSAA. The board commended the school on the excellence demonstrated through the accreditation process. The executive director of MNSAA wrote: "It was evident that St. Anastasia School is committed to ongoing improvement and educational excellence. Our congratulations on the fine efforts demonstrated at St. Anastasia School. Our best wishes as you move ahead with your ongoing improvement efforts." |
