The confirmation program is so blessed by so many of the parishioners of St. Anastasia! Dr. Lyke recently spoke to the candidates about his annual trip to San Lucas. Over the years he and Dr. Wallyn have helped hundreds of very poor people with their teeth and eye care needs. Not only have they done the work, they have gathered and toted the necessary equipment and instruments creating what is now a functioning modern day clinic. If their response to God's call is not proof of God answering prayers I don't' know what is.

Thank you to Mercedes, Josie and Max who brought forward the offertory gifts this week and last. I hear the candidates have been spotted helping in classrooms with younger students, serving at church luncheons and ball tournaments and ushering at the 11:00 Mass. These young people are our Church!
