Religious Education News

This past week our RE students were blessed to hear several people from our parish speak about their vocation. The speakers livened the awareness of the different vocations God calls each of us to. Fr. Zach spoke on the priesthood, Sr. Lucille on being a nun, Tom & LaMae on married life and Teresa Rosenow on single life. They each explained how they knew God had called them to their chosen vocation: how their vocation has called them to serve God and others; and how they knew this was the correct calling. God bless them all for taking the time to connect and share their stories with the students.

Thank you to the confirmation students for their introductions and “Saints” talk before Mass the past few Sundays. We are blessed to be walking with you on your faith journey. I invite everyone to pray for all students preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation. Please do something special for the confirmation student’s name you drew after Mass today..  write them a special note or send them a gift, but most importantly keep them in your prayers.

Congratulations to our second grade students, Emily Chatfield and Hope Holter, who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Sat. Jan. 28th. May they continue to experience God’s forgiveness and love.
