Retreat Opportunities

RENEW THE HEART--“The heart is the place where a person’s deepest feelings, core personality traits and basic spirituality resided.” We speak of a “heartfelt” response as one that is honest and genuine. Jesus reserves the highest honor possible for the “pure of heart” in the Beatitudes: “they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). With a “listening heart” we discover God’s purpose and plan for us. This retreat will help us imitate more deeply the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a Heart whose greatest desire is to show us mercy. Imitating the Heart of Jesus will help foster a “change of heart” in us. At Christ the King Retreat Center, Buffalo MN,  www.kingshouse.com or 763- 682-1394. Suggested offering: $140. Silent Couples retreat: Mar 9-11

NURTURING THE BODY AND ATTENDING THE SOUL: A SILENT MEDITATION RETREAT--Use meditation practices in a group setting to go deeper into your inner silence, prayer and reflection. Personal reflection time will be enriched with inspiring readings and meditations. Whether you are new or seasoned in the art of meditation, this retreat will benefit all. Spiritual Directors will be available for optional one-to-one visits. Franciscan Sister Linda Wieser has been a Spiritual Director and Retreat Director for over 35 years. She has a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry with extensive studies in spiritual direction and holistic body therapy. Friday, Feb 17, 7-9pm, Saturday, Feb 18, 8:30am-3:30pm at Assisi Heights, Rochester, MN. $75 includes breaks and lunch on Saturday. Partial scholarships available.
